The Pink Petal is an 8.41-carat Fancy Vivid Purple-Pink diamond, graded VS1 and described by Christie's as a Potential Type IIa, set as a ring. From 18 November it sits under glass at The Henderson, 2 Murray Road, with a published estimate of HK$65 million to HK$95 million, before the buyer's premium. Most readers who care about that stone will not raise a paddle on 24 November. The useful product of Hong Kong Luxury Week Autumn 2026 is the appointment that lets them stand in front of it anyway.

Christie's is marking forty years in Asia with this season. The first Hong Kong sale was in January 1986. Live auctions run from 19 to 20 and 23 to 26 November across wine, handbags, jewels, and watches, with previews from 18 November at the Asia Pacific headquarters inside The Henderson. Viewing is by appointment, and pre-registration is required.

Objects that repay standing still

Magnificent Jewels on 24 November carries more than 120 lots. Beside the Pink Petal sits an Art Deco Cartier brooch with a 10.10-carat Burmese no-heat pigeon's blood ruby, estimated at HK$40 million to HK$60 million, and a 21.05-carat Kashmir no-heat royal blue sapphire ring mounted by Cartier, estimated at HK$30 million to HK$50 million. Those figures are pre-sale ranges. They tell you the scale of the room. They do not tell you what will sell.

Handbags & Accessories live on 23 November. The house is leading with two Jean-Paul Gaultier-era Hermès pieces from the collector Susan Casden: a Hornback Crocodile Kelly 32 from the Autumn 2004 runway, and a Leopard Print Ponyhair Shoulder Birkin. Compact specials in the same sale include a Snow Faubourg Sellier Birkin 20 in matte béton alligator and white Togo, a Rainy Days Faubourg Birkin 20, and an Evercalf leather and feathers Sellier Kelly 25. Estimates for the Casden lots were not in the November announcement. The construction and the provenance are the reason to book the short viewing window.

The watch sales are where the anniversary is most literal. Two live auctions on 25 and 26 November have a combined low estimate above HK$330 million, which Christie's calls the highest seasonal total estimate the category has posted in Asia. The Iconic 40 Watches Evening Sale on 25 November at 18:00 puts forty pieces in one room. The catalogue lead is a Patek Philippe Sky Moon Tourbillon Ref. 6002G-010, estimated at HK$26.5 million to HK$43 million: twelve complications, a cathedral minute repeater, and a case dense with hand engraving. An F.P. Journe Tourbillon Souverain with a ruby dial, one of twenty platinum examples, is estimated at HK$16 million to HK$32 million. The next day continues Kronos: Titans of Time Part 2, including a rose-gold Sky Moon Ref. 5002R. SJX Watches places the watch preview on the seventh floor and the auction on the sixth, so confirm with the desk which floor holds the case you came for.

Wine opens the week, and it is where a Japanese cellar does the teaching. On 19 November, The Distinguished Cellar of Mr. Aki Asami presents more than 1,060 bottles, including 422 bottles of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti and 57 bottles of Romanée-Conti itself. The same day and the next bring three live wine sales marking sixty years of Christie's Wines & Spirits department. Labels and formats are the education. Lot estimates stay on the catalogue pages.

Viewing hours, by category

Christie's published the Hong Kong viewing grid on its Luxury Week page. Fine and Rare Wines: 18 to 22 November, 11:00 to 18:00. Magnificent Jewels: 18 to 23 November, 11:00 to 18:00, then a short morning on sale day, 24 November, 11:00 to 12:00. Important Watches: 18 to 25 November, 11:00 to 18:00. Handbags get the tightest window, 23 November from 11:00 to 13:30, before the afternoon sale. Miss that slot and the Kellys are already in the room with paddles.

That grid is why the week rewards one category instead of a tour. Jewels repay slow looking at colour and mount. The Casden Hermès pieces repay a close look at runway leather the boutique floor no longer stages. The Sky Moon case makes the engraving argument physical. The Asami bottles show how one Japanese collector built a Domaine de la Romanée-Conti holding through official allocations. None of that requires a paddle.

Reach the rooms from Central Exit J2 or Admiralty Exit B to the covered footbridge, escalator to the third floor, then the Christie's desk for the lift. Telephone +852 2760 1766 or write infoasia@christies.com to pre-register. The same tower is also hanging Over Twenty Dabriwala Works at The Henderson from 18 to 29 November, free, as a modern South Asian exhibition. Luxury Week is the appointment register. The Dabriwala hang is the open door. One desk call does not cover both. Shanghai already ran a preview from 9 to 13 November at Bund One. If you are in Hong Kong for the week, Murray Road is where the objects sit under glass before the hammer.

Estimates move. Conditions of sale still apply. For a reader who is not bidding, pick one category, book its viewing hours, and look until the estimate stops being the point.
