NoMad Singapore

NoMad’s first Asia-Pacific hotel sits at 230 Orchard Road on the former Faber House site at the Cairnhill intersection, with stays opening from 1 December 2026. UOL Group redeveloped the tower; Hilton manages the brand after its April 2024 majority stake in Sydell. Singapore’s WOHA designed the architecture, including a cascading waterfall Hilton describes as fourteen storeys and a verdant vertical façade that continues the green language of neighbouring Design Orchard. Los Angeles studio Kevin Klein Design handled interiors. Arrival begins on level five with an open-air reception, Lù Bar, terrace, and pool overlooking Orchard rather than a ground-floor atrium. The house lists 173 keys, including 25 suites, across twelve guest levels. Hilton has detailed 71 Atelier rooms at 32 square metres with living area and bathtub, Parlour Suites at 42, and NoMad Suites at 43 with double-sink bathrooms; the booking engine also shows a smaller entry category, so confirm the room card. Pale blues and greens nod to nearby Emerald Hill, the URA’s first conservation area from 1985. Dining stacks NoMad Grill on the roof, The Tropicana Club, street-level Sticky Fingers, and poolside Lù Bar. Culinary director Lorenz Hoja previously led L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon in Singapore. Hilton plans more than 1,860 artworks, about 90 percent by Singapore-based artists, with an ART:DIS commissioning partnership. Book through hilton.com; early published cash rates have started near S$516 before taxes, so confirm your dates. Somerset MRT is about a two-minute walk. December school holidays fill Orchard first.

While you're there

Somerset MRT puts Emerald Hill and Peranakan Place a short walk away for a shophouse loop after the fifth-floor pool. For another Orchard design stay with a stronger dining reservation culture, compare The Singapore EDITION and FYSH at Cuscaden. Grab to the Civic District when National Gallery Singapore or Odette is the night.

Pro Tip: Book the room for the level-five arrival and waterfall view, then reserve NoMad Grill or Tropicana separately; treating the dining stack as walk-in on a December Saturday is how Orchard weekends punish optimism.
