Ian Schrager’s first Southeast Asian EDITION sits at 38 Cuscaden Road, at the western end of Orchard beside the Botanic Gardens. Safdie Architects and DP Architects delivered the 204-room building; Cap Atelier handled interiors. Soft opening ran from late 2023, with an official launch in May 2024. Signature dining is FYSH, Australian chef Josh Niland’s first restaurant outside Sydney, a 154-seat seafood steakhouse that also covers hotel breakfast. FYSH lists breakfast 6:30 to 10:30, lunch 12:00 to 14:30, dinner Monday to Thursday 18:00 to 22:00 and Friday to Sunday 18:00 to 22:30. Lobby Bar, Punch Room, and Wonder Room extend the evening stack; the rooftop pool is the Orchard-side outdoor room. Book the hotel through editionhotels.com/singapore. Confirm pool and bar access by rate, because visitor policies differ across Orchard houses and an awkward door rule is a poor surprise after you have already invited someone up from Cuscaden. The location is the practical hotel when Sentosa transfers are not wanted and Orchard meetings sit in the same day. Orchard MRT and a short Grab cover most hops. Do not plan a Civic District tasting and a late FYSH seating without buffer in rain. Formula 1 week and December holidays fill Cuscaden first. Recheck hotel and FYSH hours before you lock the week.
