The Banquet note
India Art Fair dates the eighteenth edition to 4–7 February 2027 at the NSIC Exhibition Grounds in Okhla. The fair remains the winter meeting for modern and contemporary South Asian work: Indian galleries at the core, international booths around them, and a design section that has grown in recent years. Tickets in 2026 were digital and advance-only, with last entry at 17:00; wait for the 2027 visitor page before assuming the same. Preview days have typically opened the week before the weekend public rush.
Okhla is a dedicated trip, not a detour from Khan Market. Govindpuri on the Violet Line and Okhla NSIC on the Magenta Line are the honest Metro approaches; taxis work if you accept the industrial-estate last mile. Stay in South Delhi. Give the fair one day, then spend another on Lodhi Colony, Defence Colony or the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art rather than forcing every white cube into the same afternoon. Art Mumbai in November is the other Indian commercial week, at a racecourse rather than an exhibition ground. Recheck indiaartfair.in in December for the ticket release.
Plan it well
Book South Delhi lodging for early February. Buy tickets online when they drop; recent editions did not want walk-ups. Keep one morning for KNMA or Lodhi Colony so Okhla is not the whole trip.
