Seventy-one independent maisons open hotel suites and a free lakeside pavilion for five September days, the walkable counterpart to April’s Palexpo salon.

The Banquet note
Geneva Watch Days began in 2020 as a pandemic workaround and returns for a seventh edition from 2 to 6 September. The official site lists 71 maisons. The shared meeting point is the Main Pavilion and Blue Box on the Rotonde du Mont-Blanc, Quai du Mont-Blanc 1201, on the lake a short walk from Cornavin. Brands then scatter into hotel rooms and workshops: Beau-Rivage, Hôtel d’Angleterre, Four Seasons des Bergues and the Ritz-Carlton de la Paix all appear on the 2026 showroom map, with a few ateliers out in Plan-les-Ouates. Admission to the pavilion is free. That is the point. Watches and Wonders remains the April salon at Palexpo; this week is the city version, timed after LVMH Watch Week and before the autumn auction season.
Pick two or three maisons and walk. The pavilion on Wednesday afternoon is enough to see what launched; Thursday and Friday mornings are better for suite appointments if a brand will have you. Hotel guests receive a Geneva Transport Card. Trams 15 and 1 stop within about 200 metres of the Rotonde. Do not try to add Frieze Seoul (2–5 September at COEX) to the same passport week unless you are already splitting the party. Recheck gva-watch-days.com for showroom hours before you lock a suite visit; some doors stay invitation-led even when the pavilion is public.
Plan it well
Sleep on the Quai or in the old town, not beside the airport. Pre-register on gva-watch-days.com, then book two showroom appointments rather than chasing all 71 names. If Seoul is the art week you need, skip Geneva; the calendars collide.
