Tokyo’s tenth citywide design-and-art festival spreads interiors, fashion, craft and installations from a temporary KK Line main stage through Aoyama, Harajuku and Daikanyama.

- AUTOBAHN is ticketed on ArtSticker. A one-day adult ticket is ¥3,000 in advance and ¥3,500 on the day. Students are ¥1,000 and ¥1,500. A five-day pass is ¥5,000 in advance and ¥6,000 on the day. Prices include tax. Each ticket allows three entries that day. The 30 October opening party and the 31 October PechaKucha Night are separate ¥2,000 tickets. Most satellite rooms are free. Some charge or ask for an invitation.

The Banquet note
DESIGNART TOKYO began in 2017 under the DESIGNART TOKYO Committee, founded by Akio Aoki (MIRU DESIGN), Shun Kawakami (artless), Hiroshi Koike (NON-GRID), Okisato Nagata (TIMELESS), and Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham (Klein Dytham architecture). The standing concept, Into the Emotions, treats beauty and function as shared language across interiors, art, fashion, technology and craft. The 2026 edition is the tenth, themed Hibiki (resonance), and runs ten days from 30 October to 8 November across Ginza, Roppongi, Omotesando, Harajuku, Shibuya, Daikanyama and Ikejiri. Earlier editions drew crowds near 250,000.
The main venue sits on the old KK Line between Sukiyabashi and Ginza 1-chome, about five minutes from Hibiya, Ginza, Ginza-itchome or Yurakucho. The door is opposite Tokyo Innovation Base, under the Royal Host sign on the north side of Ginza Inz 2, beside Tokyo Kotsu Kaikan. ALTEMY, Eri Tsugawa’s studio, builds a temporary structure of about 2,000 square metres called AUTOBAHN, and only from 30 October to 3 November. Friday opens at noon. Saturday through Monday run 10:00 to 19:00. Tuesday, a holiday, closes at 17:00. About 150 presentations from 13 countries are on the city map, and this is the first year with a market inside the main venue. A co-founder of Merci, the Paris concept shop, is editing AUTOBAHN The Design Store. The opening party on 30 October, doors at 18:00 and the set from 19:00 to 21:00, is a separate ¥2,000 ticket and includes a short set from the New York trumpeter Takuya Kuroda. PechaKucha Night on the 31st uses the same clock and the same price. After 3 November the elevated road is finished. Walk Omotesando, Ginza and Daikanyama on the satellite map, and do not buy a five-day pass if you land on the 4th.
Plan it well
Buy the AUTOBAHN day on ArtSticker before you fly, and only the five-day pass if you are in Ginza from 30 October. The entrance is the Royal Host sign beside Tokyo Kotsu Kaikan. Friday opens at noon. The night tickets are extra. After 3 November, use the satellite map.
