The Banquet note

Art Collaboration Kyoto launched in 2021 as a public-private fair built around collaboration rather than a conventional single-gallery booth grid. Its sixth edition runs at the Kyoto International Conference Center in Takaragaike from 7 to 9 November 2026, with an invitation-only preview on 6 November. Official announcements list 63 galleries from 18 countries and regions across Gallery Collaborations, where Japan-based hosts share booths with international peers, and Kyoto Meetings, which foregrounds presentations with distinct Kyoto connections. A seven-member Leadership Committee has guided the fair since April 2026.

The fair floor is only half the week. ACK Intersections activates indoor and outdoor spaces at ICC Kyoto under a guest curator, while partner exhibitions open in temple and city venues during the same dates. Reach the venue on the Karasuma Subway Line to Kokusaikaikan Station, then walk about five minutes via Exit 4-2's covered passage. Keep one fair day and one city day separate; do not try to stack Higashiyama temple mornings onto a full ICC afternoon.

Plan it well

Book Kyoto lodging early for early November. Use Kokusaikaikan Station for ICC Kyoto, confirm ticket tiers on a-c-k.jp, and reserve one evening for a satellite temple or gallery show rather than forcing everything into the fair halls.

Invitation-only preview on 6 November; public days 7 to 9 November.
