Jungsik
Chef Yim Jung-sik’s New Korean fine-dining restaurant in Gangnam, with a parallel New York outpost under the same name. The MICHELIN Guide Seoul & Busan 2026 lists Jungsik at two stars; tasting menus rework familiar Korean forms such as banchan, gimbap and bibimbap with modern technique. Lunch runs about noon–3:00 p.m. (last order 1:15 p.m.) and dinner 5:30–10:00 p.m. (last order 7:15 p.m.), open year-round. Reservations open on Catch Table at 11:00 a.m. KST on the first day of even-numbered months for a two-month window; phone inquiries are weekday-limited. Book before Frieze Seoul week if that is your travel spine.

While you're there
Seolleung-ro in Gangnam puts Cheongdam galleries and boutiques a short drive away. Pair the tasting with Leeum Museum of Art on a different day rather than the same evening. Book Catchtable early, especially around Frieze Seoul.
Pro Tip: Take the earlier Catchtable seating if you have an ICN morning flight; Seolleung-ro tastings do not compress, and Gangnam traffic back north is where itineraries break.
- Best for
- A Gangnam tasting flagship when Cheongdam is already in play.
- Pair with
- Leeum Museum of Art on a different day.
- Season / timing
- Frieze Seoul early September is the critical Catchtable window.
