Amant is a non-profit contemporary arts campus at 315 Maujer Street in Brooklyn’s East Williamsburg, founded in 2019, with free exhibitions, live programs, a café-bookstore, and an outdoor lot at 316 Ten Eyck used for performances. Galleries typically open Thursday 12:00–6:00 p.m., Friday 12:00–9:00 p.m., and Saturday–Sunday 12:00–6:00 p.m.; confirm on amant.org before you cross the borough. Through 16 August 2026, CFGNY’s Puddles into Pond fills the indoor galleries with collaborative ceramics, a fur-clad bridge, water clocks, and a garment pop-up; the collective’s 17 July CFG-20260717 fashion-performance with The Kitchen activated the Ten Eyck lot. Use Amant when you want experimental Asian diaspora fashion and installation without a ticket line: no general admission fee, step-free entry, and Kis Café for a pause between rooms. Ask at the desk which gallery holds the CFGNY pop-up racks if you want to try garments after walking the bridge, and whether any Without Walls or outdoor programs are listed that week. Friday evenings keep the campus open later; weekday afternoons are quieter for reading wall text and clock systems without a crowd.
