The Banquet note
Watches and Wonders Geneva 2027 runs from Monday 5 to Sunday 11 April at Palexpo, Route François-Peyrot 30, in Grand-Saconnex beside the airport. Professional days occupy the first four days; the public weekend is Friday 9 through Sunday 11. The 2027 announcement already names new exhibitors including Breitling, Gallet and Universal Genève under Georges Kern’s House of Brands, plus the Italian jeweller Damiani, beside returning houses. In The City programming continues downtown through the week, which is the civilised way to see watch culture after you have left the halls. Public tickets in recent editions sold only online, with no box office at the door.
Sleep near the airport if your diary is Palexpo appointments. Sleep in the old town or on the Quai if evenings matter more, and budget a clean shuttle or taxi each morning rather than pretending you will stroll back for lunch. Keep trade accreditation and public tickets as separate plans. Use downtown for In The City once the floor closes; do not try to sandwich the Jet d’Eau between two maison meetings. September’s Geneva Watch Days, 2 to 6 September 2026, is the free lakeside version of this week. If you can only do one Geneva, choose April for the maisons and September for the independents.
Plan it well
Book April lodging as soon as accreditation or the public-ticket window is real. Public tickets have sold online only, usually from February. Wait for the 2027 prices rather than assuming last year’s francs. September on the lake is Geneva Watch Days if independents are the reason you came.
