Singapore’s original Formula 1 night race adds its first Sprint weekend, turning Marina Bay into a three-day programme rather than a Sunday-evening appointment.

Premier Walkabout opens all four zones; Zone 4 covers Padang entertainment but not Zone 1 stages. Twenty3 and Paddock Club are the hospitality products if you want air-conditioning and a fixed table. General tickets use the Singapore GP app; screenshots are not accepted.

The Banquet note
Formula 1 has raced under lights in Singapore since 2008. In 2026 the city hosts its first Sprint weekend: practice and Sprint Qualifying on Friday, the Sprint and Grand Prix qualifying on Saturday, then the race at 20:00 on Sunday. The extra competitive session makes Saturday newly consequential. Dinner reservations now need to work around two late qualifying nights, not just the Grand Prix. The 4.9-kilometre street circuit still threads the bay, the Padang and the Flyer, which is why a Bayfront hotel is either perfect or unbearable depending on whether you like helicopters.
Choose the ticket by geography. Premier Walkabout opens Zones 1 to 4; Zone 4 covers the Padang Stage and much of the entertainment programme. Hospitality at Twenty3 and Paddock Club provides the scarce luxuries here: a seat, air-conditioning and somewhere to meet the rest of your party. Stay in Marina Bay if the track is the point, or in the Civic District if you want a quieter walk home after the chequered flag. Book the room first, then the ticket. An expensive car is often less useful than the correct MRT exit under circuit closures.
Plan it well
Lock lodging before chasing resale inventory. Use the official app for general admission. If you only want one session, wait for announced single-day Sunday stock rather than buying three nights of Sprint you will skip.
