Taiwan’s niche-fragrance trade show returns to Xinyi for four March days beside Beautyworld, which is catnip if you already follow the island’s independent perfume circuit.

The Banquet note
SCENT Taipei began in March 2026 as Taiwan’s first dedicated fragrance trade platform, organised by UDN.com and Messe Frankfurt Taiwan with professional support from the International Scent & Sense Association. The second edition is dated 26 to 29 March 2027 at Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1, the same Xinyi address as ART TAIPEI in autumn, running beside Beautyworld Taipei. Published hours for the paired 2027 shows are 10:00 to 18:00. Online registration is required; watch the visitor site for the 2027 window. The 2026 inaugural gathered Taiwanese and overseas houses plus materials and workshops. Brand lists will follow there too.
Go to smell, not to check luggage. The neighbouring beauty show means the room can feel like a trade floor: badge lanyards, carts, bright lights. That is fine if you keep a short list and step outside when your nose tires. After hours, walk to NOSE WAY at Shin Kong Mitsukoshi A11 or make a Yongkang appointment at P.Seven, where someone can talk you through a bottle without a neighbouring booth playing music. Stay in Xinyi. Read Kaiwei Hsieh’s circuit piece before you go if you want names that already have a Banquet argument behind them.
Plan it well
Register on the Beautyworld / SCENT visitor page when it opens, likely in the autumn. One fair day is enough. Keep a separate retail hour for a bottle you actually want to wear home.
