Frieze's contemporary fair returns to The Regent's Park each October beside Frieze Masters, with a free outdoor sculpture trail and a denser Mayfair gallery week around both tents.

The Banquet note
Frieze London was founded in 2003 by Amanda Sharp and Matthew Slotover and is directed by Eva Langret. The 2026 edition occupies The Regent's Park from 14 to 18 October, focusing on contemporary art and living artists across Galleries, Focus, Artist-to-Artist, Editions and a curated section. Frieze Masters runs concurrently nearby with work made before 2000, while Frieze Sculpture, directed by Fatoş Üstek, places free outdoor works in the English Gardens from 16 September to 1 November.
Plan the park as one geography and Mayfair as another. A combined ticket can cover both tents on the same day if you keep lunch short; do not add a distant museum appointment between the two. Use public days for unhurried looking after preview traffic eases, and keep evening capacity for Cork Street and hotel-bar dinners rather than a second fair crawl. Buy tickets early and decide whether you need both tents on one day. Base in Marylebone or Mayfair for short transfers, and treat Frieze Sculpture as a free daylight walk rather than a ticketed obligation.
