The Banquet note
PAD London was founded in 2007 by Patrick Perrin, a fourth-generation Paris antique dealer, as the British sister of PAD Paris (launched 1998 in the Tuileries). The 2026 edition occupies Berkeley Square, W1J 6EN, from 13 to 18 October, the eighteenth year in that Mayfair garden. A published 2026 exhibitor list runs to 66 galleries from 15 countries, including seven newcomers, spanning historical design, contemporary furniture and a handful of jewellery presentations. Frieze London and Frieze Masters open in The Regent’s Park the next morning, 14 October. The useful split is geographic: one day for the park, one morning for the square, not a taxi loop between them at 16:00.
Buy the ticket that matches how many times you want to come back. The £100 preview pass is worth it if you are shopping a room and need Thursday and Saturday. A £30 public ticket is enough if you want to look once and leave for Umu or A.Wong. Sunday closes an hour earlier. The square is a dealer fair for objects that have to live with the paintings you may have reserved in the park.
Plan it well
Base in Mayfair or Marylebone. Do PAD on Tuesday or Wednesday if you have the preview pass, then Frieze on Friday when the park eases. Watch padesignart.com if the 2026 floorplan moves.
