The Banquet note
On 14 October 2026, Foodie reported that LV The Place Hong Kong opens to the public on 12 December at K11 MUSEA, with Le Café Louis Vuitton, a still-unnamed chef's restaurant, retail, and an exhibition. Managing editor Rubin Verebes wrote that the date had been confirmed exclusively to Foodie. Hong Kong property reports put the site at about 40,000 square feet on the ground floor, beside the Avenue of Stars. Maxime Frédéric, pastry chef for Louis Vuitton, is named as the person building the café programme. An 11 August liquor-licence filing, reported by HK01, lists Victor Bernard Judeaux, the house's head of hospitality for North Asia, for both LE CAFE and LV The Place.
Louis Vuitton's own Hong Kong store list did not show K11 MUSEA as of 16 October. Treat 12 December as the public day in the food press, and expect a reservation link closer to the date, on the model of Café Louis Vuitton in Cheongdam, which opened Catchtable bookings on 18 August 2025 for a 1 September opening. Sunday 13 December is the Hong Kong International Races at Sha Tin, so Saturday at Victoria Dockside is the harbour afternoon before the East Rail.
Plan it well
Use Victoria Dockside, 18 Salisbury Road. East Tsim Sha Tsui Exit J or Tsim Sha Tsui Exit E. Rosewood Hong Kong is in the same cluster. Keep Sunday for Sha Tin and recheck the café booking link in late November. Hours and a menu are not published.
