Design Miami’s Paris edition returns to the eighteenth-century hôtel particulier on Rue de l’Université, the collectible-design stop during Art Basel Paris week.

The Banquet note
Design Miami opened its Paris fair in 2023 at L’hôtel de Maisons and returns for a fourth edition from 20 to 25 October 2026. The venue is an eighteenth-century residence in Faubourg Saint-Germain once linked to the Pozzo di Borgo family and later to Karl Lagerfeld, with a courtyard and garden that still shape how objects are seen. The programme fits the mansion: gallery presentations, Design at Large projects, partner rooms and talks. Official hours are published: invitation previews on Tuesday, public days Wednesday through Sunday with a shorter Sunday close.
Treat the fair as a Left Bank morning or afternoon, not a Grand Palais add-on at 16:00. Art Basel Paris public days run 23–25 October at the Grand Palais, with previews on the 21st and 22nd, so the calendars overlap without sharing a ticket. Stay in Saint-Germain or the 7th if the mansion and neighbouring design dealers are the point; keep the eighth for the painting halls on another day. Musée d’Orsay is the useful neighbour if you still have eyes. Seoul’s Design Miami edition ends in early September; Miami Beach remains the December flagship.
Plan it well
