London’s autumn Asian-art week gathers dealers, auction houses and museum talks across Mayfair and St James’s, the walking counterpart to March on Madison.

The Banquet note
Asian Art in London’s twenty-ninth edition runs from 29 October to 10 November. Dealers open rooms across Mayfair, St James’s and Kensington Church Street. The published 2026 auction list already names AstaGuru, Bonhams at Knightsbridge and New Bond Street, Christie’s, Lyon & Turnbull, Roseberys and Sotheby’s, covering Indian and Islamic material, modern South Asian and Middle Eastern work, and objects from Japan, China, Korea and Southeast Asia. Late nights are dated: South Kensington and Belgravia on Saturday 31 October, St James’s on Sunday 1 November, Mayfair on Monday 2 November. A new partnership sits the week beside the LAPADA Fair on Berkeley Square. The guidebook arrives in early September.
Base in Mayfair or St James’s and treat the week as three walks, not a fair hall. Do a late night, then return to two rooms in daylight. The V&A is the museum morning if you still have eyes. Frieze and PAD close on 18 October, which gives you ten days to change cities or simply stay. ART TAIPEI opens the same weekend in Xinyi. Most people pick a continent.
Plan it well
Print the September guidebook when it appears. Do one late night and two morning galleries. Leave Thursday 29 October for dealers who are still hanging.
