The Banquet note
ART SG was founded in 2023 with UBS as founding and lead partner, and the fifth edition occupies the Sands Expo and Convention Centre at Marina Bay Sands, 10 Bayfront Avenue, from 22 to 24 January 2027. VIP preview and Vernissage fall on Thursday 21 January. From 2026 the boutique Southeast Asian platform S.E.A. Focus, long associated with STPI, moved inside ART SG rather than keeping its own Tanjong Pagar address. That is useful if you want regional work without a second taxi; it also means the convention centre is doing more jobs than it used to.
Enter via Bayfront MRT on the Circle and Downtown lines, Exit E, or ask a taxi for MBS Expo & Convention Centre, not the hotel porte-cochère. Give the fair one clean day. Give National Gallery Singapore and the Civic District another. Gillman Barracks still wants its own half-day if you care about the older gallery cluster. Vernissage tickets, when released, have covered Thursday evening plus unlimited public return; do not assume the Thursday daytime preview is for sale. Singapore Art Week runs 21 to 31 January around the fair, which is the longer reason to stay.
Plan it well
Stay at Marina Bay if the hall is your spine, or in the Civic District if the museums are. Do not book National Gallery for the same morning you attempt the fair. Recheck artsg.com for Vernissage release and whether S.E.A. Focus still shares the ticket.
