Yuz Museum Shanghai
Private museum founded on the Chinese-Indonesian collector Budi Tek’s holdings, now directed by Justine Alexandria Tek after his death in March 2022. The institution opened in a West Bund hangar in May 2014 and relocated to Panlong Tiandi in Qingpu with a grand opening on 17 May 2023 at No. 8, Lane 123, Panding Road. Typical hours run Tuesday through Sunday 11:00 to 19:00; closed Mondays. Confirm current exhibitions and ticketing on yuzmshanghai.org before the Hongqiao-area transfer; partnerships with LACMA and Qatar Museums keep parts of the collection travelling.

While you're there
Panlong Tiandi sits near Hongqiao rather than the Bund museum belt. Do Long Museum West Bund on a separate half-day; stacking both without empty hours between them usually means one rushed floor.
Pro Tip: Confirm what is actually on view before you leave central Shanghai; Qingpu is a commitment, and a dark programme day is an expensive taxi loop.
- Best for
- A Qingpu private-museum afternoon when the West Bund morning is already done.
- Pair with
- Long Museum West Bund as the first Shanghai Ambassadors stop.
- Season / timing
- West Bund Art & Design week still pulls collectors citywide; confirm Qingpu hours around holidays.
