Kim Association
Singapore project space for transnational Asian contemporary art, initiated by the Yenn and Alan Lo Foundation on the ground floor of a River Valley shophouse at 63 Kim Yam Road. Artistic director Christina Li oversees commissions and presentations; the inaugural exhibition ran September–December 2025, with later co-commissions including work with Kunsthalle Basel. Private visits are often by appointment; the site has also posted temporary closures, so confirm access on kimassociation.org before you diary a stop. The same foundation sponsored the Singapore Art Museum S.E.A. Focus Art Fund from 2023 to 2025.

While you're there
Kim Yam Road sits in River Valley, a short Grab from Orchard or the Singapore River hotels. Keep the visit appointment-led rather than stacking it against a Marina Bay tasting the same hour. Pair with a Civic District museum morning only if both calendars confirm open days.
Pro Tip: Write ahead and ask whether the current show is open to appointment visitors; the space has advertised closures and newsletter-only reopenings that trip walk-up plans.
- Best for
- An appointment-led transnational Asian art stop in River Valley.
- Pair with
- The patronage brief in The Patrons Who Earned the Job.
- Season / timing
- Singapore Art Week and ART SG weeks tighten appointment books.
