Gia is the restaurant Sam Tran and Long Tran opened in 2020 at 61 Van Mieu, across the street from the Temple of Literature. In June 2026 it kept a Michelin star for a fourth year. Vietnam's guide still tops out at one star. The menu page lists dinner at 3,500,000 dong and lunch at 2,500,000 dong, both before a 7 percent service charge and tax. Dinner runs Tuesday to Saturday. Lunch is Friday and Saturday only. Sunday and Monday are closed. Plan on about three hours. Parties of six or fewer confirm with a card hold of 1,000,000 dong a person, refunded after the bill is paid, and a cancellation inside 48 hours can keep that hold. They say they cannot cook a vegetarian menu, or one without seafood, egg, or dairy. If that is your table, book a different room. Michelin prints a shorter evening than the restaurant's own hours. Enter at 58 Quoc Tu Giam and leave by the Van Mieu exit. From Starlake or from Ngo Quyen, this is a car, and Friday traffic is the one to fear.
