Banyan Tree Mount Emei

Banyan Tree's courtyard resort at the foot of Mount Emei, opened 3 August 2026 at No. 55, Section 1, Jingqu Road in Huangwan, beside Baoguo Temple and about two minutes from the scenic-area gate. The hotel lists 130 rooms and villas in six categories, each with a private outdoor hot-spring pool. Mountain View rooms are 75 square metres, or 83 in the Wellbeing category; Garden Villas run 82; one- and two-bedroom lakeside villas are 218 and 296. The hotel page lists the Presidential Villa at 669 square metres. BUZZ designed the architecture, CCD the interiors, and GVL the landscape; seven century-old camphor trees were kept in place, and arrival is organised around a si shui gui tang courtyard. Dining includes Jiayao for Sichuan and Cantonese cooking, Mingyue for all-day meals, the Lobby Lounge, and Destination Dining by the lake or in the bamboo. The Study Room, designed by Zhuang Ziyu and named for Huizong Hall, the earlier name of Baoguo Temple, holds tea, calligraphy, and private meals. Banyan Tree Spa lists five couple treatment rooms. Emeishan High-Speed Railway Station is about five minutes by car; Chengdu Shuangliu is about two hours by road or about an hour by high-speed train to Shuangliu Airport station.
