Versailles is a palace-day town on the southwest edge of Paris, best reached by RER C to Versailles Château-Rive Gauche when that line is running, or by Transilien L or N to other Versailles stations. Book a timed Palace ticket online before you travel; Mondays close the Palace and Trianon estate.
